Have you read Mirror’s Hope? Mirror’s Heart? Or Mirror’s Deceit? Perhaps all three?
Well, for those of you who are familiar with the series or who have been with us since the beginning, this is the moment you have all been waiting for. The fourth, and final, book in the Mirror World series is coming July 17th, 2020 with a cover reveal in June, 2020!
That’s right, Murandy Damodred and I are finally wrapping up our epic, dark fantasy romance, time travel, alternate world series! It’s taken us six years, but here we are at the finish line and we hope you are as excited as we are.
The story so far:
In Mirror’s Hope, we follow the lives of Mira Calanais and her soulmate Hope, the Avatar of the Light, in their quest to change their world for the better. Faced with a cruel tyrant and his unforgiving generals, the couple sacrifices a lot to see their mission through, including each other.
The sequel, Mirror’s Heart, picks up ten years later when Mirena is finally driven to save Hope and set things right. She goes up against her arch nemesis, Caralain Dashar, and the remaining Generals in a dangerous game of cat and mouse for control of the world’s future.
Book three, Mirror’s Deceit, is a sort of prequel which takes place in the Mirror World and reveals that Caralain is from the future and has fled back in time in order to stop a horrific future from coming to pass – a future where Mirena, the Dark Avatar of the Destroyer, controls everything.
This is brings us to Mirror’s Despair, the conclusion of this epic four book series where Mirena resurfaces after ten years spent in hiding intent on taking back what she sees as rightfully hers; control of the continent. Only, forewarned, Tendro has been waiting and planning for this moment ever since the last war ended. Who will win? And, perhaps more importantly, at what cost? You’ll have to read the book to find out!
Justine Alley Dowsett is the author of nine novels and counting, and one of the founders of Mirror World Publishing. Her books, which she often co-writes with her sister, Murandy Damodred, range from young adult science fiction to dark fantasy/romance. She earned a BA in Drama from the University of Windsor, honed her skills as an entrepreneur by tackling video game production, and now she dedicates her time to writing, publishing, and occasionally role-playing with her friends.
With a background in Drama and Communications from the University of Windsor, Murandy Damodred enjoys fantasy fiction with strong romantic subplots. She is an avid role-player and is happiest when living vicariously through her characters. Though she’d rather think of herself as the heroine of her next novel, in the real world she is a new mom living in Windsor, Ontario, ready to embark on a new career as a medical technician.
