Coming in 2023: Mirror’s Fate by J.A. Dowsett and M. Damodred

Another week, another announcement! Don’t worry, the sale we announced in our last post is still going on. You can get any of Sharon Ledwith’s ebooks for young adult readers for only $0.99 all month long. All you have to do is head over to our online store, add any or all the ebooks by Sharon Ledwith to you cart and the discount will be automatically applied at checkout.

In addition to the sale, this month we’re announcing our upcoming titles for 2023. So far we’ve announced The Demons of Montmartre by Laurence Raphael Brothers, the upcoming From Here to There anthology, and Crimson Winter’s third volume: City of Ruby by J.A. Dowsett.

This week, we are pleased to announce that the fifth and final installment (for real this time) in the Mirror Worlds series will be coming out this year.

Mirror’s Hope, the first book in the Mirror Worlds series, was the first book we ever released here at Mirror World Publishing (hence the name of the publishing house…) and now the epic saga that was so foundational in launching our whole enterprise is finally coming to an end almost a whole decade later. This is a book (and series) not to miss, which if you haven’t started yet, or haven’t read all four, now’s the time to get caught up.

The series includes:

Mirror’s Hope, Mirror’s Heart, Mirror’s Deceit and Mirror’s Despair.

Tendro Seynor is the Avatar of the Light in a world afflicted by darkness. Mirena Calanais is the Dark Avatar of the Destroyer in a world filled with light.  Each has the power to create change, but their two parallel worlds are precariously balanced.

And now, coming soon, Mirror’s Fate:

Balance is everything.

The Mask Tendro picked up after the battle in the Mirror World is more than it seems. When he puts it on he is flooded with all the memories of his previous lives and all the ways his future could play out. Choosing to destroy the Mask instead of giving into the temptation of hiding beneath it, Tendro decides that this time he’s going to do things differently. And that means staying one step ahead of Caralain in his own world and the one that Mirrors it.

Mirena agrees to help Tendro with his plan, even though it will have her facing harsher consequences for her involvement in the attack on the Capital. But in order to break the cycle, they’re both going to have to tread into uncharted territory and face down friends and enemies alike. Alliances shift, fates change, and the past comes back to haunt them as they finally unravel the secrets of the Mirror Worlds and their place in them.

Justine Alley Dowsett (right) is the author of over ten novels, and one of the founders of Mirror World Publishing. Her books, which she often co-writes with her sister, Murandy Damodred, range from young adult science fiction to dark fantasy/romance. She earned a BA in Drama from the University of Windsor, honed her skills as an entrepreneur by tackling video game production, and now she dedicates her time to writing, publishing, and occasionally role-playing with her friends.

With a background in Drama and Communications from the University of Windsor, Murandy Damodred (left) enjoys fantasy fiction with strong romantic subplots. She is an avid role-player and is happiest when living vicariously through her characters. Though she’d rather think of herself as the heroine of her next novel, in the real world she is a nurse living in Windsor, Ontario.
