Love is in the Air…

Yes, I know I’m a little late, but in honour of Valentine’s Day earlier this week, I just thought I would remind you that romance is one of our many genres. We like to mix our romance with a little escapism, but we love a good love story. So if you’re looking for a romantic escape, why not try one of these:

The Mirror World Series :

Starting with Mirror’s Hope, this four book (soon to be five) book series follows Mirena Calanais and Tendro Seynor and both of their lives throughout two parallel worlds. This is a complex fantasy series with many twists and turns, but always with love at the center of it. Pick up the first book as an ebook or paperback or get the whole series so far with our holiday bundle.

The Time Traveller’s Resort and Museum by David McCLain (Illustrated by Felix Eddy):

If you’re looking for a good standalone that does its best to cover every genre one might call escapism, then this comedic time travel fantasy romance is for you. Alice falls for three men and she misjudges them all. Follow Alice as she learns that time travel is not only possible but that she’s been credited with inventing it. Her ally in this journey is a strange man who seems to think that Alice may be about to open up a strange new world of possibilities, but is probably not telling her everything he knows. This book is lovingly illustrated by the talented Felix Eddy and is available in ebook, paperback and a collector’s Hardcover edition.

Far, Far Away, Vol. 1

Did you know that our Far, Far Away anthology contains two romance stories as well as another one or two with strong romantic elements? Read the short story The Colour of Roses to get a new, vibrant perspective on the concept of ‘soulmates’, then travel through time with two lovers who have been with each other throughout history in The Prime Crusade. Finally, read Fatestorm a fantasy romance novella set in ancient Rome. Available in ebook and paperback.

Nora Simeon Occult Investigations:

Most people don’t know this, but The Demons of Wall Street and the rest of the books in the Nora Simeon Investigation series are all urban fantasy romances. Yes there are demons hidden in the financial sectors of the world, and yes Nora Simeon is often tasked with hunting them down across the globe, but it’s Nora’s love life and her partner Eyre that are the heart of these novellas. Check out this fantastic series before The Demons of Chiyoda comes out next month. Also available in ebook and paperback.
