Submission season here at Mirror World Publishing is almost upon us once again! Our general submissions period starts November 1st and ends December 24th at midnight. If you’re a writer of escapism fiction and you’re considering submitting to us, we urge you to take this time to go over our submission guidelines, familiarize yourself with the books in our collection, and prepare your submission package with care and attention to detail.
And if, while you’re doing this, you find you have any questions or just want to learn more, you are in luck! This year, we’re going to do a LIVE, ONLINE question and answer period on Sunday, November 1st at 3pm on our Youtube channel.
In addition to taking your questions, we’ll also be discussing how to submit, what to submit, what we’re looking for in a submission and what you can expect during the submission process, and afterward if your manuscript is accepted. I’ll be there, joined by our entire acquisitions team, and the event will be hosted by Adam Giles, from Mirror World News, our Youtube show. This is your chance to learn more about us and to get a behind the scenes look at a traditional-style press and the submission process. We hope you’ll come out and join us, or watch the video after it airs.
And in the meantime if you’d like to use this time to prepare your manuscript or ponder what questions you might want to ask us, you can try searching this blog for more information to watching our Youtube channel where Adam Giles and I have done some deep dives on various topics to do with writing, publishing, and querying.
Specifically, if you want to learn more about WHAT we’re looking for, go here.
If you’d like more information on HOW to submit, read this.
And if you want to read more about the submission process, it is outlined here.
And of course, as ever, you can find our submission guidelines with a comprehensive list of things we’re looking for and also what we’re NOT looking for on our website: http://www.mirrorworldpublishing.com/submissions
Don’t forget! Submissions open November 1st, 2020 and our live event is at 3pm on our Youtube channel.
We look forward to chatting with you and reading your submissions.
Looking forward to submitting this year! Woohoo! Also want to check out your live YouTube show too! Cheers and thanks for the reminder!
