In case you’ve somehow managed to forget, let me remind you that our submissions period opens November 1st! As of November 1st, 2018, we’ll be accepting your queries and reading your manuscripts. As usual, we’re only looking for a few titles for 2019/2020, so don’t be discouraged if we don’t choose your manuscript, because either way we will be sure to give you some feedback and suggestions for your next steps on your publishing journey.
Wordsfest and the Southwesto Book Fair – Nov. 2-4
Next for us is the Southwesto Book Fair in London, On at the Museum. This three day celebration of the written word features local authors, workshops, indie publishing houses, and readings and if you bring your query and a sample of your writing, you can pitch to us in person! We’ll be selling books and listening to pitches all day Saturday and Sunday, so come out and see us!
Literacy Night – Nov. 15
Then, on November 15th from 4:30 pm to 7:30pm, Sharon Ledwith and I will be selling and signing books at Tecumseh Vista Academy for their annual literacy Night. This will be our third year attending this event and we always have a blast chatting with students and parents about time travel, other worlds, and the importance of reading!
Kingsville Festival of Lights – December 1-2
