Happy Birthday to us! Revealing January 2016’s Featured Book

Today is not just the beginning of a new year, it’s also our birthday! Today Mirror World Publishing enters its third year in business!

As you know if you’ve read our farewell to 2015 post, we’ve got big things planned for this year. One of those things is to provide you with a featured book each month and we are pleased to announce that January 2016’s featured book is: Mirror’s Hope by myself, Justine Alley Dowsett, and Murandy Damodred.

This book is important to us in many ways. It’s the first book that Murandy and I co-wrote together, just the two of us. It’s the culmination of a story over a decade in the making. And, it’s the book we founded the company on. It was our first launch in early 2014 and you may have noticed that the company name Mirror World Publishing is inspired by the setting in Mirror’s Hope; a fantasy realm with two parallel worlds.

From obtaining a BA in Drama at the University of Windsor to becoming an entrepreneur in video game production and later, publishing, Justine Alley Dowsett’s unswerving ambition has always led her to pursue her dreams. Today she lives in Windsor, Ontario and is still writing and publishing fiction novels. When not focusing on growing her business, she enjoys role-playing with friends and developing new ideas to write about.

With a background in Drama and Communications from the University of Windsor, Murandy Damodred enjoys fantasy fiction with strong romantic subplots. She is an avid role-player and is happiest when living vicariously through her characters. Though she’d rather think of herself as the heroine of her next novel, in the real world she is an expert in sales and management living in Windsor, Ontario.
